A Credit Monitoring Service That Delivers Real Results

Your credit report and scores are going to be your most reliable allies when it comes to safeguarding your financial information. A single error in a credit report could lead to disastrous score that will prevent you from raising your credit limit or from qualifying for an important loan. By keeping a close eye on your credit report could help you discover whether someone had hacked into your accounts is already in the middle of an identity theft procedure.

Unfortunately, most companies that offer credit monitoring are either too expensive or offer too little service for them to be of any real value. That is not the case with Credit Keeper and my own personal experience can prove it.

My Experience With HSBC’s My Credit Keeper Program

One of the first things you should be aware of is that most credit monitoring companies will send you credit scores and credit reports based on only one of the three important credit bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian) while charging you over $12 a month. It is important that you check your reports from all three bureaus and compare and analyze each report directly. Yet,if you have to pay roughly $130 or more each year for monthly reports from just one bureau, you’ll actually have to pay close to $400 to get reports from all three bureaus. That isn’t going to work for many of us.

But with HSBC’s credit monitoring program, right from the get-go, will guarantee you get reports from all three for only $9.99 per month. Within a year you’ll spend less than $120. That alone saves you more than $280! Not to mention how much time having all of your reports consolidated into one portal can save you.

Flexibility For Monitoring Your Credit Scores

There are a lot of options that you can get with this company. When you sign up for their program, you get the following automatically:

  • Notifications about any inquiries on your credit by creditors and companies
  • Notificiations about any possible adverse or derogatory information that has been recently added to your ongoing credit report
  • Notifications about all new accounts there were made in your name
  • A notice every month in case none of the above had ever occurred

These notifications are given to help you stop identity theft and to ensure that your credit report is accurate. Besides these notifications you will be given a sheet of your credit score and an in-depth summary on how this credit score was calculated using the information found on your credit history. If there are any errors and you need to have your reports corrected, the program makes the process quick and easy by giving you a set of form letters that will guide you in disputing the items that you found wrong in your credit history and then a view on how the changes will affect your credit score.

Credit Keeper Is The Leader In Credit Monitoring

creditkeeper's program discontinued

I had a horrible credit score back in the day and I really needed to get it back on track. The good thing about this program is that it isn’t there just to give you a sheet of scores. One of the first things you will notice is that this is one of the few companies that you can use to get your credit score just about anywhere in the world because it has an online option. Most credit monitoring companies do not offer this. Another thing is that you have all the worksheets and calculators right on the website so that you can immediately calculate to double check if the credit scores given to you are right. Each report given to you has a summary on your history was taken and how your score was calculated so you can do a computation by yourself if you so chose to. It may be a bit confusing to get around the website at first but it worked for me. I did my computations and I realized that a few things needed to be disputed.

Their customer service is of top quality. Right from my first call they gave me ample advice on what to do so I can remove the errors on my credit report and then they gave me the best advice that I could follow to get my credit score back in shape. It’s pretty impossible for anybody to get a perfect credit score of 900 but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try. I thought it was going to be impossible for me to get my credit back to a good shade but since Credit Keeper goes the extra mile I was able to recuperate and later I qualified to get a decent home loan to purchase a new house.

My Verdict on HSBC’s Credit Monitoring Service…

So is Credit Keeper worth your investment? For me, it definitely was! I had a terrible credit score and I had no idea whether or not there was something wrong with my reports. I was worried that I was a victim of identity theft but didn’t have the knowledge or means to monitoring all of my reports. Fortunately HSBC’s program and their customer service team were available for a very low cost that I was able to slowly educate myself and understand my credit. They give you all the important tools and their customer service will hold you by the hands as they work with you to get you back on track. I found that most other credit monitoring companies will ask for a lot of information and can get really confusing over time but with this program, they make sure that you know what you’re doing all the time.

This is a very good deal for people who already have a good credit history. They can use the really affordable service to monitor whether someone is trying to steal their identity and misuse their credit accounts while getting an accurate look at their credit scores and all for the price of $9.99 a month.

The customer service is really where I have to give props to HSBC for this program. I really needed help in disputing my credit reports and I needed assistance on how to work on my score. Another great aspect that I love is that you can avoid all the other costs of this credit monitoring system if you want to. You aren’t mandated to pay for all of their extra assistance (although I felt like they deserved it). With Credit Keeper, you just pay the regular $9.99 monthly fee and start monitoring your credit scores and credit reports.
